Welcome to "Det Virtuelle Musikbibliotek" - The Online Music Research Library of Denmark

DVM, Det virtuelle Musikbibliotek (Online Music Research Library) is a pilot project for the humanities area under the auspices of DEF (Danmarks Elektroniske Forskningsbibliotek - Denmark's Electronic Research Library), and implemented by a consortium with participation from the State and University Library, the Royal Library in Copenhagen, Odense University Library and the Danish Music Information Centre (MIC).

The project is to create a basis for a dynamic and permanent central web portal to music resources in public institutions in Denmark.

The project has been set in motion in the period November 1999 until May 2001 and will be continued with the involvement of other institutions and libraries (both suppliers and users).
